  • Acting for Two:
    • In the Italian dub:
      • Pietro Ubaldi voices Magmion, Deepdownfear, Wicked and Thoughtcatcher (only in his first appearance).
      • Paolo Sesana voices Bullrock, Earthshaker, Solitary Eagle, Hawk Silent, Steel Beak, Letal Whip and Tongs throughout season 1, and then voices Supreme Luminos from season 2 onwards.
      • Renata Bertolas voices Nick and Toby's mother, Gina and Magic Lookout.
      • Claudio Moneta voices Lavion, Lavor, Delos and Thoughtcatcher (in his second appearance).
      • Giorgio Bonino voices Nick and Toby's father, Steelback, Mimic, Fiery Hammer, Quarry and Cannon Trunk.
  • No Export for You: Season 3 was never dubbed in Brazilian Portuguese, but however, it was dubbed in European Portuguese.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • In the Italian dub:
      • Lethal Whip was voiced by Gianluca Iacono in his first appearance, while in later appearances he is voiced by Paolo Sesana.
      • Thoughcatcher was voiced by Pietro Ubaldi in his first appearance and by Claudio Moneta in his second one.
      • When the Old Sage appears for the first time in the season 1 finale, he was voiced by Marco Balzarotti: however, once he becomes a main character in season 3, the role goes to Antonio Paiola.
      • When, after a mind swap with Nick, Roscalion briefly gains the ability to speak in a season 1 episode, Marco Balzarotti voices him. When he and the other guardians began speaking regularly from season 2 onwards, the role went to Stefano Albertini.
    • During season 2, Jessica was briefly recast for a few episodes in both the English dub (from Melissa Fahn to Kate Higgins) and the Italian dub (from Patrizia Mottola to Marcella Silvestri).
  • Playing Against Type: Keith Silverstein, normally cast as hammy villains with some tragic element, plays the Big Good Supreme Luminos.
  • Screwed by the Network:
    • In Italy, the show had multiple issues when airing for the first time. Between the season 1 premiere being postponed for almost two months to multiple hiatuses, to the last five episodes of season 1 being released on DVD months before their TV debut to it being moved from the weekday afternoon time slot to the weekend morning one while kids are at school, and ultimately season 3 being interrupted before the last four episodes aired, with a year-long hiatus before they were released on an obscure Italian-only streaming service and then published on DVD.
    • In the US, the show was placed actively in the 6AM timeslot, making it almost impossible to watch on TV.
  • Show Accuracy/Toy Accuracy: the actual character designs have some differences from the blindbag figures they were based on. The most obvious one is that almost every character was given Black Dot Pupils instead of the empty eyes of the original designs, but also many characters were given different color schemes (usually based on their original color schemes from the pre-cartoon figure series). Jessica's Gormite form also had her face in a deeper shade of pink and no nose in toy form.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • A test pilot had a bunch of differences compared to the final show: Forest Gormiti (except for Lucas's transformed form) had a different color scheme, being mainly pale yellow and green with red accents rather than the usual brown and dark green, and in particular Florus was shown with a different design (the final design features green flowers with 5 petals each on his head and hands and no face, the preview one had red flowers with 4 petals each and a creepy looking face in the head one), Armageddon was going to be in the bad guys team already in Season 1, Razzle was purple, none of the kids had to stay on Earth as a Keeper (Toby touches a blue orb to open the portal and they go to Gorm all together - albeit the Keeper chair can still be seen on the background) and when they transform the Toby sequence is one they never used in the final show (probably because it briefly shows him naked from the waist up).
    • Many pieces of merchandising had descriptions of the main characters including many traits that were never seen in the show, such as Lucas being good at telling jokes and having a Captain Planet-esque weakness to pollution when transformed, and Jessica being a Gadgeteer Genius who wins most of her battles by using weapons built with whatever she finds around. Also, the city where the kids live was referred as "Venture Falls" (which is its actual name outside of the Italian dub) rather than "Venture City", and Razzle's name was originally written "Razel".
