  • Creator Killer: While he's still had a steady career as a producer and an executive (namely on critical darling BoJack Horseman), Michael Eisner's career as a creative force pretty much ended with this show.
  • Cross-Regional Voice Acting: Most of the characters are voiced by Los Angeles-based talents, but Connor is voiced by the Toronto-based Peter Oldring.
  • Genre-Killer: Killed adult animation on Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon would later try adult programming again with the disaster that was NickMom.
  • International Coproduction: Between Eisner's Tornante Animation and Cuppa Coffee Studios in Toronto.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: While the show itself is currently easy to find on multiple streaming services, it never received a home release due to its poor performance. Notably it is not on Paramount+ with the rest of Nickelodeon's shows. Additionally, the Laugh Track edits of the first few episodes are very rare, as they were quickly taken out of circulation and never aired again.
  • Screwed by the Network: Suffered from schedule changes, poor marketing, little-to-no reruns outside to Nicktoons on the weekends, and being a rather raunchy series that not only aired on Nick@Nite (which, while often seen as the more "adult" side of Nickelodeon, is generally comprised of family-friendly series and movies) but wound up being scheduled after SpongeBob SquarePants, resulting in cancellation after two seasons.
  • Write What You Know: Michael Eisner based the show on his own experiences going on family road trips as a kid.
