• Content Leak: In November of 2022, Passion Republic Games posted a tweet indicating that Gigan would be the second Godzilla DLC character before quickly deleting the post.
• No Export for You: Due to "regional restrictions and licensing agreements," the Ultraman DLC isn't available in China or Japan.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Rawa's official Concept Art reveals he had conceptual designs based more closely on Southeast Asian dragons, even more closely resembling a dinosaur, and possessing traditional draconic wings. The shape of Skorak's skull shell and wall-art in Thundatross' story mode indicate that the design they initially chose was the serpentine Southeast Asian dragon, but hardware limitations forced the dev team to settle for a bipedal dinosaur-like design.
  • Gorogong is the closest thing the game has to a King Kong Copy, but his original Concept Art shows he almost was yet another tribute to the eight wonder of the world. Other concepts looked closer to Gyango and other Ultra Series monsters, and one was a bipedal shark beast!
• Word of God:
  • When asked on their Discord in November 2023, the devs stated that there were no plans at the time to add additional story modes for the game's original characters beyond the four already present in the base game, and that their time and effort would be focused on patching bugs and working on DLC guest-character packs.
  • When the topic of potential guest characters was broached on their Discord, the MonsterVerse was vetoed by the devs due to the complicated and expensive licensing involving both Toho and Warner Bros. When Minecraft released a Godzilla DLC not long afterwards that featured multiple versions of the character—including MonsterVerse Godzilla and Kong—it was maintained that GigaBash would be unlikely to be able to do the same, owing to the difference in resources between a massive corporation like Microsoft and an indie studio like Passion Republic Games.
