The film
- California Doubling: The film is set in St. Petersburg, Florida. Filming took place in Savannah and Tybee Island, Georgia.
- Cast the Expert: The lecturer at the end of the film is played by Jordan Ellenberg, a mathematician and the film's mathematics consultant. He notes that the film cut his lecture and spliced two lines together to make what he was saying incorrect.
