- What Could Have Been:
- Originally the game was going to be a sequel to Nuclear Strike, with the previous game having several allusions to the mecha that would be used in Future Strike. It would instead be remodeled and remade into this game.
- A demo was released
before the game was officially released which differs from the final product. The level Griffith Park in the demo has X1 Alpha protecting fellow police officers, assisted by a police hovercraft, fought different enemies and the boss of the level had a different face and voice compared to the final product.
