  • Jason Bateman was one point attached to direct the film, with Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson attached to star. However, when Bateman left the project the following month due to creative differences, Evans also dropped out and was replaced by Channing Tatum when a new director Greg Berlanti sat as the director chair.
  • This project originally titled Project Armetis. (No relation to the Andy Weir novel.)
