- What Could Have Been: According to Maidy's Producer of Light series, the initial proposal for the pilot's script had the main character as a hikkikomori and his guildmates being stereotypical otaku with Maidy's dad succumbing to cancer in the ending. Real!Maidy turned the idea down as he found it offensive and inaccurate.
