• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The first eight issues were collected in a trade paperback. However, the ninth, the last one before the Series Hiatus, has never been collected.
• Series Hiatus: The last issue came out in January 2008. Around that time, Ellis’ notes on his then-current projects, including Fell, were lost when both his hard drive and backups failed irrecoverably. Ellis wrote a new script for issue 10 in 2011, but Templesmith was unable to complete the art at the time. In 2021, Templesmith announced that he and Ellis were ready to complete the series, but by then Ellis was an industry pariah due to reports of sexual grooming and predatory behaviour. Image Comics refused to publish the continued series until Ellis’ reconciliation process concluded.
