• Creator Backlash: In the DVD Commentary, Mila Kunis said that her singing during the "So Long, Farewell" song "sounds like shit", which explains why Meg's singing voice was done by different women in later episodes instead of Kunis.
• First Appearance: of Ollie Williams. He is the weather man who always has No Indoor Voice whenever he appears.
• What Could Have Been:
  • During Peter's stint as a Streetwalker, he was originally written to ask if Lois wanted a "half-and-half", which was shot down by FOX censors on sight due to being a well-known sexual reference (half-oral, half-vaginal sex). Seth MacFarlane expressed great amusement with the fact that its replacement, a "Cleveland steamer", somehow made it through despite being even filthier (it involves pooping on your sexual partner), presumably because FOX didn't think it was a real term.
  • According to the Futon Critic and ending credits crediting his voice actor, Francis Griffin was planned to appear in the episode at some point.
