• Creator Backlash: Gary Holt doesn't have too many nice things to say about Force of Habit, specifically that he felt he was writing for the record company rather than himself. He's also not a big fan of Impact Is Imminent, but he feels it has some of the best riffs he ever wrote.
• Creative Differences: The reason behind the times that Paul Baloff and Zetro were fired. Baloff's was a mixture of creative (his vocals were too limited for the material they were writing and they just could not get them to work, and he routinely lost time onstage to the point where Gary Holt would have to kick him in the leg to the time of the music to get him back on track) and different (he couldn't get his shit together on a personal level to the point where he was homeless and bouncing between squatting in abandoned buildings and the floor of their practice space, lived life way too hard for his own good, and was the kind of person who was never going to be any different; in Gary's words, Paul was someone who was just not meant to live very long, while Rick Hunolt said much the same and acknowledged that while they were distraught over the prospect of firing him because they knew it would destroy his life, Paul was too out of control to be able to stay in the band and was not going to change), while Zetro's was strictly due to personality clashes with Holt at the time.
• Died During Production: Paul Baloff famously died in the middle of planning a comeback album that would eventually become Tempo of the Damned.
• Executive Meddling: Although never confirmed, it is rumored that the label Century Media forced the band to drop "Crime of the Century" from Tempo of the Damned and replace it with the Hammet-era "Impaler" since the song was about Exodus' rocky relationship with their label.
• The Pete Best: Pretty much everyone who played in the band before the release of Bonded by Blood but not on the album itself, not helped by the hectic changes of the early years. Kirk Hammet is the sole exception, for obvious reasons.
• Reclusive Artist: Classic-era bassist Rob McKillop vanished entirely from the public eye after his departure from the band in 1991. He has had no other musical projects since leaving Exodus and no recent pictures of him have surfaced.
