  • Amateur Cast: The producers wanted the main cast of students to be played by actors with none or little experience in acting, or almost graduating from acting. This was intended to portray a more realistic show.
  • The Danza: Samuel is played by Samuel Gonzalez.
  • Dawson Casting: Sebastián Ayala and Karla Melo, which were in their twenties when the series started airing, were casted as Maicol and Flavia, the main characters among the students of the III° Mediotranslation , a grade in which their students are typically 16-17 years old.
  • In Memoriam: Episode 16 (the fourth of the second season) starts with a dedication to Ricardo Olea, the actor who played Lalo, who died from a tongue cancer.
  • Role Reprise:
    • In November 2019, five years after the final episode of the series aired, and one month after the social outbreak in Chile who triggered massive protests around the country, a video was viralized. It features Sebastían Ayala and Karla Melo, first reprising their roles as Maicol and Flavia, and then showing the actors going to a protest in Plaza Baquedano, in Santiago.
    • In October 2020, in less than a week for the referendum to change the current Constitution in Chile, and triggered by the mentioned protests, another video was viralized, featuring Sebastian and Karla again in their roles, and Maite Neira reprising her role as Toyita.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • The showrunners originally planned to use a state school as the base for the story. After some research, they opted to use a partially funded-by-state school. That election allowed them to portray the owner of the school as an antagonist.
    • The original idea for Flavia's pregnancy in season 1, was she doing an abortion. Both TVN and the Consejo Nacional de Televisiónnote  intervened to avoid that. After negotiations between them, they agreed that Flavia will lose the fetus in an accident during a protest.
