• Dawson Casting: Inverted, Saori Hayami was only 18 when she voiced Saki.
• Real Song Theme Tune: The anime uses the song "Falling Down" by Oasis as its opening theme. Due to rights issues, the English dub replaces it with an alternate song sung by Saki's seiyuu Saori Hayami.
• Referenced by...: Several abridged series have been made of the anime.
  • YorozuyaGroup's series. It's not bad, Akira as The Stoner is a funny moment ("I have transcended the need of clothes").
  • dotvob's series. Was never completed, and the episodes are generally short (many barely surpass the 3 minutes.)
  • by Century 22. This is an odd one. Firstly, it's hosted on Facebook instead of YouTube. Secondly, as the series progress, the episodes become less and less shortened from the 'unabridged' series. It's also part Doctor Who fanfiction.
