• Creator Backlash: Christopher Lee was none-too-pleased with the film adding the element of prayer in addition to staking Dracula.
• Dramatic Spotlight: Courtesy of director (and award-winning cinematographer) Freddie Francis. He loaned this film's cinematographer, Hammer veteran Arthur Grant, colored gels for the camera lens. The result was a spotlight effect whenever Dracula was on-screen.
