• Box Office Bomb: The actual figures the movie managed to make back aren't known and appear not to have been recorded anywhere. There is an absolutely pitiful $8,196 figure floating around, however, that's just the money it made from a theatrical release in the United Arab Emirates specifically.

• Troubled Production: The town initially sought out for filming refused, and the alternative location they ended up shooting in was incredibly small and had never actually had a movie shot there before, with director Mendez describing it as "one of the poorest suburbs in America". The film, when greenlit, was underbudgeted and the difference had to be made up through an Indiegogo campaign. Despite these troubles, it appears the cast all got along well, and the film went on to earn rave reviews.
