• All-Star Cast:
  • The two lead cast features Maaya Uchida and Yōko Hikasa. Meanwhile the supporting cast features Nobuo Tobita, Hikaru Midorikawa, Kenjiro Tsuda, Daisuke Hirakawa, Tasuku Hatanaka and Takuya Eguchi.
  • The English dub is no slouch with the cast consists of well-known and new voice actors like Austin Tindle, Patricia Duran, Natalie Rial, Luci Christian, Hilary Haag, David Wald, Blake Shepard, Carli Mosier, John Gremillion, Mike Haimoto, Bryson Baugus, Christina Kelly, and Kira Vincent-Davis.
• Colbert Bump: The singer for the anime's opening theme, "Minami," experienced this big time. Prior to the anime airing, she was quite niche, and very unknown. Once word-of-mouth spread throughout the anime community of just how good "Crying for Rain" was, people immediately started seeking her out, and she experienced an enormous burst of popularity. It got to the point that all 7 songs available on her official Youtube channel all got over a million views each, with two of them, "Crying for Rain" and "Lilac" getting over 30 million and 20 million respectively (before the anime aired, these vids were only in the mid-tens of thousands of views). It eventually got to the point that she was popular enough to get her music sold on iTunes and then available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube Music in May 2019, months after the anime had ended.^note "Monologue," "Eternal Blue," and "Honest Diary" have since been privated from the channel
  • "Crying for Rain" hit the 100 million view milestone in February 2021.
• Officially Shortened Title: DomeKano, usually printed on official media with an "x" in between.
• What Could Have Been: The manga's extras give a glimpse into previous incarnations of the story:
  • One draft had Hina be a plain looking teacher in school, but a wild and sexy sadist outside. Natsuo was your typical carefree playboy, but when he tried to seduce Hina he was always outdone by her, leading into an obsession over the one woman he can't easily get. The reason Hina started to fall in love with Natsuo was because he looks like the only man she ever loved.
  • There was a more down to earth draft with a theme of music. Natsuo, here the son of a restaurant owner, decides to become a musician, and Hina (here named Haruki) is his music teacher who also had a crush on his father. Rui was also present for this one, but she was not a main love interest like she is in the current story. Natsuo was also shorter than Hina in this draft.
  • One draft took a lot of inspiration from corrupt school stories (in particular Kill la Kill), where Hina's character was trying to take over the school and had her own elite four under her thumb. This incarnation was your typical Defrosting Ice Queen, and Natsuo was the Ordinary High-School Student that helps her to open up. It should be noted that this draft and the one above also had a childhood friend involved.
