- Out of Order: Order of the episodes differs between ICTV and NTV. It doesnt't hurt the continuity. However, there's one way more interesting thing: NTV decided to name both season 2 and season 3 as season 2. ICTV decided to equal quantity of seasons by showing Russian season 5 and season 6 as one season 6. How clear and convenient.
- The Other Darrin: Boris Gromov (head of the police precinct) was played by three actors (Mikhail Filippov, Boris Kamorzin and Aleksandr Yatsko).
- Similarly Named Works: Shares its title with an American film, which also happens to be about how a working dog turns a man's life around.
- What Could Have Been: Nikita Panfilov (Max) was ready to leave the series for many times (due to both professional and personal reasons). Most notable one was after series 1, when producers was even in talks with other actor to replace him.
