• Completely Different Title:
  • The French title is "La Fin d'une Vie" (The End of a Life).
  • The Hungarian title is "A halott leány" (The Dead Girl).
• Deleted Scene: In a deleted scene on the DVD release, Clara compares the sword training of the Viking villagers with Dad's Army.
• Prop Recycling: The Mire are built to the proportions of the Judoon. While they're almost certainly not related in-story (the Mire look like lampreys rather than rhinos), it's almost certain they share costume elements.
• What Could Have Been: BRIAN BLESSED!!!!! was approached to play Odin, but later pulled out due to ill health and was replaced by David Schofield. Funnily enough, this is the second time that Blessed was approached to play Odin but ended up being recast.
