• Flip-Flop of God: The creators have never officially stated what species the player's dinosaur is, and they can't even agree on it. XGen Studios has stated that they're "pretty sure it's a Velociraptor", while PixelJAM has kept quiet as to the official species. In the end, there's no clear answer, and neither of the creators seem particularly keen on confirming it once and for all. However, the developers of Dino Run 2 officially identified the player dinosaur as Velociraptor.
