Trivia / Denshi Sentai Denziman

• The Danza: Akira Momoi is played by Akira Yumi.
• No Stunt Double: Not only did Kenji Ohba do his own stunts, he being a former suit actor on Gorenger before moving to regular roles did his own suit acting as Denziblue something usually not allowed after Hiroshi Fujoka injured himself filming the first Kamen Rider. Presumably it was okay'd because he was only one part of an ensemble cast and not the sole lead so if he was injured they could work around it. Once he became Space Sheriff Gavan (the lead and sole hero of the show) the next year he was notably NOT allowed to also be Gavan's suit actor.
• The Other Darrin: Sort of; the dog who originally portrayed IC died during filming of episode 36 and was replaced with a new dog for the rest of the series.
• What Could Have Been
  • Toei did consider following up Battle Fever J with more Spider-Man-type adaptations with the Hulk and/or the Silver Surfer. Ultimately, it was decided to stick with the team of heroes format and so Super Sentai continued with Denziman.
  • Back when the show was Denshi Man Trigger, the character that would become Princess Denzi was devised as the heroine Crystal / Trigger 5.
  • Toei was considering extending the series past the original year, but opted for a new show. Notably Toei has considered this several times with Sentai seasons that have done well, but as of 2022 has yet to do so.
• Working Title: Was originally conceived as Denshi^note Electronic Man Trigger.
