Trivia / Danganronpa 2/3 Redux: Return Unto Death

• What Could Have Been: Before the story began, Sir Muffinsworth held a poll to determine the protagonist, describing each with a single sentence. After Rantaro won, they revealed who the other three candidates were, briefly outlining what their plans had been:
  • "The girl who cherishes every moment she captures": Mahiru. This would have swapped the cast of SDR2 into the Gifted Inmates' Academy, running them through V3's motives.
  • "The boy who threw himself away for what he wanted": Hajime. This Alternate Universe would have Hajime volunteering to sacrifice himself so that the other survivors could escape Jabberwock, followed by him walking up in the Gifted Inmates' Academy instead of Rantaro.
  • "The girl whose crimes create the very thing she commits them to protect": Maki. This would have been the same basic concept as 2/3 Redux, but featuring Maki as the protagonist rather than Rantaro.
