  • Because the reprinted version removed the part where Mayzie tries to become famous, Finagle the Agent doesn't appear in that version.
  • In the reprint, the Cat in the Hat is replaced as narrator by a generic human, and his role in helping Mayzie get home is removed entirely.
• Referenced by...: Petscop contains several references to this book. A daisy (albeit one much larger) positioned to look like it's coming out of a girl's head, and the phrases "good grief and alas" and "nobody loves me" all make an appearance.
