• The Cast Showoff: Jack Mulcahy as Rem during the musical numbers. Before his acting career, he was a vocalist and guitarist in various local rock bands.
• Colbert Bump: Having been tossed onto the direct-to-video shelf and forgotten about for 30 years, the movie eventually received two as a result of being showcased on Best of the Worst and memed about by Vinesauce Vinny, and is now widely seen as an '80s anti-classic. Its newfound popularity ultimately resulted in it receiving a Blu-ray release in 2022.
• In Memoriam: The end credits of the Blu-ray release include a dedication to Courtney Kernaghan, Ashlee’s actress, who passed away in 2017.
