- Late Export for You: It took until 2019, in the form of a SEGA AGES release for the Nintendo Switch, for Columns II to leave Japan. As a reference, the game was released to arcades in 1990.
- Port Overdosed: Whenever Sega finds an opportunity to release their Genesis catalog onto a new system, Columns will find its way onto that system. It has been included in virtually every major Genesis collection and many smaller ones. And that's not counting non-compilation ports, including a port to the Super NES of all things in 1999.
