• Creator's Favorite: In an interview, Hisui admitted that his favorite character is Lancer, since he's so earnest and tries so hard even when he fails.
• Creator's Pest: In the same interview, Hisui also mentioned that his least favorite character is Sakura, since she reminds him of a scary ex-girlfriend.
• Development Gag: In the final Phantasmoon segment, it's revealed that Illyasviel succumbed to the Greater Grail's corruption because she was angry that her route in Fate/stay Night was cut.
• DVD Commentary: Each episode has an extra running commentary track in the form of either a Tiger Dojo or "Teach Me, Ciel-Sensei!" segment. The commentary for the second episode is notable for confirming that the remake of Tsukihime is still in the works, and asking the fans to look forward to its release.
• Milestone Celebration: The series was created to celebrate Type-Moon's tenth anniversary.
• Memetic Mutation: In Hibi Chika special, Hisui explain to viewers that this isn't a Tsukihime remake in a too bad it was just me style.
• The Other Darrin: For the entire Tsukihime cast; they went with the Melty Blood cast instead of the cast of the Shingetsutan anime. The cast has been used in every other Type-Moon works featuring Tsukihime characters before the remake.
• What Could Have Been: Showcased with the animated segment of Fate/prototype, the original concept for the story that became Fate/stay night. Interestingly, it was also revealed with its showcase that it created another instance of this trope, their other option for that particular animated segment being the long-teased Tsukihime 2.
