- Alliterative Name: Candy Cane and Easter Egg
- Animate Inanimate Object: The cast is all living Christmas-themed objects with the exception of Easter Egg.
- Anthropomorphic Food: Gingerbread and Candy Cane are sentient Christmas-themed treats for Santa to enjoy.
- Armless Biped: Candy Cane and Ornament are straight examples while Christmas Tree is an inversion (As in they have arms but no legs).
- Audience Participation: Each episode, the viewers are given 364 days to choose between two objects and get them off the naughty list (aka elimination) in the comment section.
- Bait-and-Switch: In the first episode, Gingerbread looks like he suspects Easter Egg not belonging in this setting but he was actually focusing on Candy Cane eating the cookies meant for the challenge.
