• Breakup Breakout: Jon Moxley to Sami Callihan and so far to CZW as a whole. Mox, as Dean Ambrose, is the only CZW alumnus to have become WWE World Heavyweight Champion — this is in sharp contrast to ROH, which has produced multiple world champions for WWE and Impact Wrestling, including Mox's eventual Arch-Enemy Tyler Black, the future Seth Rollins and he's one of the few alumni with no memorable time with ROH.
  • The Jannetty: Drew Blood and the resident scumbag Devon Moore, fought over which of them would be the Jannetty of Notorious Inc. Devon Moore won but Drew Blood returned in 2013 so, it remains to be seen.
• The Cast Showoff: Rich Swann can play guitar.
• No Budget: A joke often directed at CZW by other promotions.
• Release Date Change: Release hour change. The ROH feud was inspired by a double booking that lead to a venue pushing an evening CZW event back to the afternoon.
• Romance on the Set: Besides every example listed under battle couple, Jimmy Jacobs dated Becky Bayless. Radiant Rain and "Sick" Nick Mondo got married after meeting on the set. Sami Callihan dated, married and divorced Chrissy Rivera.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Rory Gulak was blacklisted by CZW and many other promotions in January 2020 after being accused of various sexual offenses that are currently pending trial.
• Screwed by the Network: WGTW-48 Channel would cut their shows for not liking the content, despite knowing exactly what they were paying for. Even before that they would arbitrarily change CZW's time slot.
