Trivia / CN Blue

  • Executive Meddling: The likely reason Yonghwa was pulled out of "The Heirs" casting. It's suspected that FNC tried too hard to persuade some unnecessary deals with The Heirs' staff (likely another 1+1 package deal which they're infamous for) and got annoyed that they were rejected that they tried to dissociate themselves from it, thus costing Yonghwa his role. Even though he was very excited for the drama, he was forced to act like he was the one who rejected the role, which got lots of nasty netizen comments along the lines of "You're so arrogant you think you can turn down these offers freely when you can't even act!" Sadly, FNC provided little shielding for him.
  • Money, Dear Boy: Why FNC insists on milking the hell out of them despite them being overly exhausted and the members trying to call out on them.
  • The Pete Best: Kwangjin who left the band during the indie days hence before their successful Korean debut.
  • Promoted Fanboy:
    • They got to do a photoshoot with Kim Yuna, to fanboy Yonghwa's delight.
    • There's Minhyuk's promote fangirl and comedian Song Eunyi when she joined FNC, allowing many opportunities to be near him. There's also when he made a surprise appearance in her and Seunghyun's "Age-Height" performance at the second night of FNC Kingdom, pushing Seunghyun away and being the one to hold her arms/shoulders instead. The performance ended with he and Eunyi forming a heart-shape (with Seunghyun third-wheeling behind them).
  • What Could Have Been:
    • FT Island's Seunghyun was meant to be with CN Blue but was sent to FT Island instead after their guitarist/rapper Wonbin left. Yonghwa and Seunghyun even once talked about the days they lived together and shared the same room.
    • Minhyuk also auditioned for You Are Beautiful to be Shinwoo, and was heartbroken when Yonghwa got it instead.
    • Yonghwa was initially accepted into "The Heirs" casting but was pulled out soon afterward. Many assume it's because FNC tried to do a little too much Executive Meddling with the drama producers. He acted in Marry Him If You Dare instead. Ironically, while many disapproved of him being cast in The Heirs due to his infamous bad acting and were glad when he was taken out, his acting in MHIYD impressed a lot of people who agreed he's improved.
