• B-Team Sequel: The first movie was directed by Érik Canuel, while the second was directed by Alain DesRochers.
• Fake American: The FBI agent is played by the Canadian Andreas Apergis. Interestingly, the role was originally supposed to be played by American Michael Madsen, until he had to step down due to health issues and Apergis took his place. Adds an extra layer of funny to Blaine's line about "the more stupid breed of Canadian - the French ones" when one remembers that Apergis himself is French-Canadian.
• The Other Marty: Agent Blaine was originally supposed to be played by Michael Madsen, but he had to drop out due to health reasons and was replaced by Andreas Apergis.
• Playing Against Type: Patrice Bélanger is very well known for his numerous comedic roles. Here, he plays a psychotic killer.
• Sequel Gap: The second movie was released 11 years after the first one.
• Written by Cast Member: Patrick Huard cowrote the script for the first movie and wrote the script for the second on his own while also starring as David Bouchard.
