• Acclaimed Flop:
  • First Edition received widespread praise for its True 20 system and unique setting. Unfortunately, it never went on to reach the kind of sales that Green Ronin's other systems did.
  • Second Edition launched to even more fanfare, with mainstream and indie RPG reviewers heaping praise on the setting once again and loving the advancements in the story, the diverse cast of villains, and the application of the AGE System to more "social combat". Unfortunately, yet again, it seemed doomed to not reach as wide a market as Mutants & Masterminds did.
• Gay Panic: When First Edition launched in the early 2000's, a lot of tabletop gaming media portrayed the setting's LGBT inclusiveness as too radical and unnecessary. Green Ronin didn't bow to any sort of pressure and released the game despite the controversy it generated.
