Trivia / Bleach: Happy to Serve You

• Ascended Fanon: The idea of Aizen opening a rival restaurant called Taco Aizen and making a promo video for it came from an actual video of Kyle Hebert, his English voice actor, reciting lines for a similar ad at a convention for a fan.
• What Could Have Been:
  • There was originally going to be another side story spoofing horror movies, focusing on Yuzu's attachment to her big brother and the attention he's getting from the other girls. It never came to light.
  • There were actually 2 Halloween chapters written. The first draft was going to focus on Yuzu and her obsession with her brother. She would do creepy things in this story, like cut out the eyes of Orihime and Tatsuki form a picture that the had taken with Ichigo. This would climax with her stabbing Orihime and Ichigo stopping her, then running to get blanket to bind her wound. When he would open his closet to get the blankets he would see Rukia hanging by her neck and cut open, with Yuzu smiling behind him. It would turn out that this was all part of a movie that they were filming for the holidays. Still Gairon felt that the special would be too dark, an the Hollow's Eve chapter came to be.
  • There was an audio recording of the fan comic planned with the aim of casting sound-alikes to the official VIZ Media dub cast as possible, only with online voice actors. The project only reached the audition stage, as there weren't enough people interested to fill the large cast. There were more males auditioning than the inversely proportional number of female roles!
• Writing for the Trade: Pages upload roughly once a week, but there is a big storyline and smaller stories can stretch into entire chapters. Chapter 11 bounces between several side stories. One day in the story can last a few years, and the flow is much more understandable if read in the PD Fs, in one go, instead.
