Go To

  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Shouta Aoi voices Leibniz, who is revealed to be a female when she uncovers her face prior to her confrontation with Kane. Her seiyuu himself is best known for his light and feminine voice.
  • Fandom Nod: Eve refers to the Cross Wave as "the one you've been waiting for", alluding to its predecessors' statuses as Game Breakers.
  • Limited Special Collector's Ultimate Edition: Limited Run Games produced physical versions of the game. In addition to a standard physical copy, there is also a "Classic Edition" with Retraux box art, a dust sleeve, a soundtrack, a reversible poster, and a slipcover. There is also a "Collector's Edition" that comes with everything in the Classic Edition as well as a 3-inch figure of Kane Gardner's Metal Attacker, a replica NES cartridge, a certificate of authenticity, art cards, and an outer case that pairs up with the Zero and Zero II Collector's Editions. As an added bonus, all physical copies of the game come with the Japanese voice track, which is otherwise exclusive to the Zero Trilogy Compilation Re-release.
  • No Export for You: As of III’s release on July 30th, 2021, the only way the western local market delivers a version with voice acting included is trough Limited Run Games’ version of the physical Nintendo Switch release, and that’s only BMZ III; the actual Trilogy physical Nintendo Switch release with all three BMZ titles fully voiced is a Japanese exclusive release; however, said Trilogy pack actually includes English text as an easy toggle option, so it is very import friendly. It is possible to buy it from them directly in America, but only in-person and at their annual Anime Expo booth.
  • Pre-Order Bonus: Anyone who purchased the Zero Trilogy from certain Japanese retailers received unique merchandise depending on the retailer:
    • AmiAmi: A small standee of an illustration of Leibniz grabbing Jason by the collar.
    • GAMERS: A B2 tapestry of Eve being restrained by two Evil Eves.
    • Sofmap: A B2 tapestry of Eve, Tae, and Kanna in bikinis, with Tae situated on top of Eve.
    • Traders: A B2 tapestry of Eve and Elfie wearing skimpy maid clothing.
    • WonderGOO: A B2 tapestry of Jennifer performing maintenance on Eve.
  • Word of God: Matt Papa of Inti Creates confirmed the following:
    • Per a Limited Run Games livestream, because the game is receiving a physical edition on release, no DLC is planned.
    • Leibniz indeed is revealed to be a female, after she breaks her helmet and shows her face prior to her confrontation with Kane, and not an effeminate-looking male.
