• What Could Have Been: The concept of the Boulder Dome (as well as a "new plague" and the NCR's interest in it) isn't technically new. This idea would've popped up in Fallout Van Buren before the project was scrapped in favor of Fallout 3. The addition of the Brotherhood of Steel to the mix, as well as the in-mod origins of the Boulder Dome are however specific to the story of Beyond Boulder Dome.
