• Troubled Production: Before shooting, the director asked the composer, and the high priest of the Norse gods in Iceland, to bless the film. Seconds after the blessing was complete, the director fell and hit his head on the sharp rocks. It was the precursor to a nasty shoot, and the composer, rifling through his notes, realized he'd accidentally cursed the movie instead of blessing it. Apocalyptic storms, constant equipment failure, multiple injuries, a local volcano going active and erupting... A documentary, Wrath of Gods, was shot around it.
