- Dueling Games: Bad Company 2 went head to head with Modern Warfare 2 back in the day while the Vietnam expansion did the same with Call of Duty: Black Ops.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Both Bad Company games were delisted from all online store fronts on April 28, 2023, along with Battlefield 1943, due to E.A. shutting down the games' multiplayer servers. While the single-player portion of both Bad Company games is still playable, actually obtaining the games can only be done with whatever used Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 discs are still in circulation, or (for the PC version of Bad Company 2) a dwindling number of serial keys from grey market key resellers or sealed retail copies. The game also doesn't work well with either Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 emulators, so emulation isn't a good option either.
- What Could Have Been:
- There was going to be a TV adaptation by Fox that ended up in Development Hell and never mentioned again.
- Many people in DICE stated in interviews that they wanted to make a Bad Company 3 following the release of Battlefield 3 and later 4 but apparently EA prefered DICE to focus on "main entries" with EA asking Visceral Games to make the spin-off that would become Battlefield Hardline. However, following Hardline's critical and commercial failure, EA no longer has plans for Battlefield spin-off games.
