    Battlefield: Bad Company
  • When Haggard invades Serdaristan in search of the gold, the rest of the squad catches up to him. When they do, Redford says that Haggard should give him a good reason why he shouldn't send Haggard to prison, Haggard says that he wouldn't because the Sarge loves him, in a "pleuteonic" way. When Mike-One-Juliet calls a moment later and demands an explanation for the squad's actions, Redford ultimately takes the blame for Haggard's actions. For all the trouble Haggard causes, Sarge seemingly does love him in a pleuteonic way.
  • Later on in the game, when the Army cuts Bravo-One-Charlie loose and the squad (minus Marlowe) is captured in Russia, Mike-One-Juliet not only deliberately acts against orders by giving Marlowe support that ultimately leads him to the others, but in doing so, she also refers to the squad as "her boys". Aww.

    Battlefield: Bad Company 2
  • The squad deliberately disregards Aguire's orders to rendezvous with him in order to launch a rescue mission to save Flynn. Not only is this rather heartwarming in and of itself, but the first member of the squad who vows to do this is Flynn's biggest (former) detractor, Haggard, who refers to him as a bunch of things, including "my friend".
