• Acting for Two: In the Dutch dub, Luciana and Tallulah are both voiced by Jannemien Cnossen.
• Cross-Regional Voice Acting: Everyone with the exceptions of Queen Ariana and Tika are from Vancouver. Queen Ariana is voiced by American Andrea Martin, and Tika is voiced by Susan Roman, who while is Canadian does voice work from Toronto.
• End of an Age: This is the last Barbie film to have a character portrayed by Barbie getting married.
• Real-Life Relative: Sisters Gina and Rita are voiced by real-life sisters Carly and Britt McKillip.
