  • Bad Export for You: Officially acknowledged by staff, who have stated that they won't be able to bring all of the songs over to the English version due to licensing issues; however, they plan to bring in original content to make up for it.
    • Songs thought to be affected by this are "God knows..." and "Hanamaru Pippi wa Yoiko Dake", which are not in any version of the game other than the Japanese version.
    • "Senbonzakura" is also not available in the Korean version of the game, but this is likely due to the themes of the song which are controversial in Korea, since it's also excluded from Korean versions of the Project Diva games but is present in the US versions. Sure enough, it was added to the English version with the "Welcome to Eve's Home Party!" event in November 2018.
  • Portmanteau Series Nickname: Garupanote  (ガルパ), from the "Girl" and "Party" parts of the full title.
  • Schedule Slip:
    • The global version of the game ended up suffering from this in late 2021: Afterglow's 3rd band story and the Ojamajo Doremi collaboration event were postponed due to preparations for an update, which ultimately resulted in the Christmas event debuting at the end of October, not helped one bit by the shortened event schedules. And then, said update and the collaboration event got postponed due to an error with Google Play.
    • Pastel*Palettes' cover of "Dakara, Hitori Janai" was intended to be one of the Challenge Live songs for the "School Excursion!! ~Haneoka Arc~" event, though the song's addition was ultimately delayed due to Ami Maeshima's health issues and eventual 10-month hiatus from voicing Aya. Their original songs from the "Goodbye Sentimental" event onward were also postponed.
    • The Taiwan version was going to get the "It's MyGO!!!!!'' event at early February 2024, but an error with Andriod devices caused it to be postponed until near the end of the month.

One of the biggest appeals of Girls Band Party is the large number of songs from various Japanese media that its bands have covered.
