• Blooper: After Deathwalker's ship leaves the station, there's a cutaway to Sinclair and Garibaldi watching it approach the jumpgate, which is already open (with a blue wormhole, for the arriving Vorlon ship). But the jumpgate shouldn't be open at that point, since it's shown going from closed to open once Kosh has joined them.
• Technology Marches On: Abbut being called a "Vicar" as an analogy to the VCR, which became obsolete with the advent of DVDs, the DVR, etc.
• What Could Have Been: Abbut was intended to be played by Gilbert Gottfried.
• Word of God: Regarding the Memory Jar. The episode had Talia Winters meeting with Kosh and a strange cybernetic man who apparently was recording her thoughts and saving them on a data crystal. Word of God is that it would be used to restore her personality after she was taken over by the Psi Corps personality, but Andrea Thompson left the show, so that never came to fruition. Also, Jha'Dur's serum was originally going to be what saved Garibaldi from his life-threatening injuries at the start of Season 2, until JMS decided the alien healing device from "The Quality of Mercy" would work better.
