• What Could Have Been: J. Michael Straczynski wrote the role of Knight 2 with Walter Koenig in mind. However, Koenig had a heart attack in early 1993 and was still recovering when filming for the episode was to be done. Straczynski tried to rearrange the shooting schedule but was unable to do so. Straczynski also offered Patrick McGoohan the Knight 2 role. McGoohan had to decline due to his work in film at the time - most likely Braveheart. Koenig was later cast by Straczynski in the recurring role as Bester as a way of making up not being able to have him appear in this episode.
