• Dawson Casting: Romain Duris was 30 and Arsène Lupin is about 24-25 in this story.
• No Export for You: Until a few years ago, the movie was unavailable in the United States (it can now be rented or bought via Prime Video), though it was released on Region 1 DVD and Blu-ray in Canada and could be bought from vendors there.
• Posthumous Credit: The final film of actor Philippe Lemaire (who played the Cardinal Godefroy of Etigues). He passed away on March 15, 2004 and the film released on October 13, 2004.
