- Channel Hop: If you don't just consider Aqua to be the prototype of Aria, the entire series moved from Stencil to Comic Blade starting from what should be volume 3.
- No Dub for You: In the original English release, it was sub only. This was eventually subverted after a successful Kickstarter that gave Right Stuf the budget to Dub the entire series.
- Posthumous Credit: Tomoko Kawakami, the original voice of Athena, was credited as a "special performance" on The Avvenire after her death.
- The Other Darrin: In Crepuscolo, the role of Athena was taken over by Rina Sato due to Tomoko Kawakami’s passing.
