• Creator's Oddball: Author Robert B. Parker, known for writing Hardboiled Detective fiction like Spenser, Jesse Stone and Sunny Randall, suddenly wrote the book this film is based on. It kind of makes sense though, as gunslingers and private detectives can both be seen as newer versions of the classic Knight Errant character.
