  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: In "Prehistoric Animals", Henry becomes dangerously close to being trapped in tree sap. In 2016, amber containing lizards were discovered.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Whilst formerly the case, as of June 2021, all 52 episodes are accounted for on the internet.
  • Science Marches On:
    • In "Extinct Animals", after hearing about the Jamaican Iguana, Henry laments "Sometimes I wish my relatives got lost, but not forever!" Henry needn't worry, as 8 years before the episode, the Jamaican Iguana was rediscovered, albeit in extremely fragmented populations.
    • In Prehistoric Animals, the Narrator states that some prehistoric crocodiles could grow to 60 feet long. However, it is thought today that the largest prehistoric crocodile was around only ~30-40 feet long.
  • The Resolution Will Not Be Identified: The 52nd episode to air on Disney Channel, Animal Flight, thus makes it the series finale of sorts. Except that there is basically nothing in the episode to identify it as such. But if one is to believe that it was not last in production order, then one could believe that Animals Around the World was, an episode much more fit for being a series finale.
