Trivia / Alien vs. Predator (Capcom)

Go To

  • Early Draft Tie-In: The game's plot is loosely based on one of the many early scripts for the Alien vs. Predator movie, as the two were intended to be released in proximity to each other (obviously the fact that the film wasn't released until a decade later shows how much Development Hell it went through).
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to various licensing issues, the game never received a home port until 2019's Capcom Home Arcade (a Plug 'n' Play Game system shaped like Capcom's logo), and considering its cost and limited availability, it still wasn't a viable option for most people.
  • What Could Have Been: A port for the Sega 32X was announced, but unsurprisingly cancelled due to the failure of the add-on.
  • Another Capcom character called Ibuki is often thought to be an Expy of Lynn Kurosawa. Both have similar hairstyles, share the same Fragile Speedster status in their respective games, and use weapons alongside Ki to make up for their lesser physical strength. Ibuki's best friend Sarai also has the last name Kurosawa to make the connection stronger.
