Awesome / Alien vs. Predator (Capcom)

Go To

  • Predators helping the human protagonists at the beginning? Awesome!
  • Major Dutch, so manly awesome that he can suplex a Xenomorph for a basic grab attack. Any Xenomorph except the Queen. His special suplex is even more damaging and spectacular, and can kill most Xenomorphs and humans in a single hit. He can also shoot enemies while they are down.
  • The wrestling moves of the Predators are spectacular. And if a Predator gets a special magazine, they can fire their shoulder cannon rapidly, which absolutely decimates groups of enemies.
  • Linn Kurosawa, weak as she may be but her moves themselves are a spectacle.
  • The second stage, man! They run across the entire stage on top of an armored vehicle.
  • The fact that you face entire armies of Xenomorphs and kick their butts in general. You might be able to defeat ten Xenomorphs at once.
  • Fighting the Mad Predator, a competent enemy that can teleport, bombard the arena with plasma and has some nasty wrestling moves.
  • You fight and defeat the Alien Queen in the middle of the game, right after devastating tens of egg chambers. Then, in the fifth stage, you have to face a greedy army, and they are shown burning Smasher Aliens with a Power Loader. The humans in this game are far from helpless.
    • The Alien Queen repays the favor later. She survives the initial fight, stalks the heroes until the very end of the game, and when they are about to face the evil leader that wanted to turn the Aliens into weapons, the Queen uses her tail to kill the bastard first before facing you again, much more serious this time.
  • You can defeat the Alien Queen in the final boss fight with your bare hands if you want, although this is not easy. In fact, beating her and her elite guards at all is awesome.
    • The fact that the protagonists, learning the Queen survived, figure out what happened and are not afraid at all. The Predators call her the ultimate prey, while the humans are pumped up for a fight.
  • In the ending, the Predators acknowledge the humans as equals before ending their alliance.
