- Keep Circulating the Tapes: In North America, Toei Animation and Geneon released the first 12 episodes on three DVD volumes in early 2005, but have since gone out of print. Two more volumes were planned for release later that year but were canceled. Thus, the remaining 15 episodes remain unavailable on home video there.

- The original manga was never released outside of Japan.
- Only the first three volumes of the anime were released in North America. It was later released in its entirety on Playstation Network - without subtitles. It did, however, get a Filipino dub and premiered at a local station.
- Unfinished Dub: In North America, only 12 of the 27 episodes dubbed in Toronto were released on DVD before Toei Animation USA ended their deal with Geneon in 2006.
- Unspecified Role Credit: Toei and Geneon's North American DVD releases list the English voice actors and not which characters they voiced.
