• Channel Hop: Originally starting on The Escapist, the show moved to Second Wind mid-season 3, following the entire cast quitting The Escapist and them negotiating the rights to produce it on their new channel.
• Creator's Favorite: While the player table all have their own favorite characters, according to their Q&A practically all of them agree that Anus Quiver is great (if not their favorite).
• Crossdressing Voices: As DM, the male Jack Packard ends up having to voice a number of the female characters in the series.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: After practically all of the relevant parties in this video series left The Escapist to join Second Wind and the rights transferred to the new group, the original video uploads of the first three seasons have been taken down from The Escapist's channel. The entire third season (including episodes not uploaded before the incident at The Escapist) has since been reuploaded on Second Wind's channel and the first two are in the works for a Remaster, but it's unclear if the original versions of the first two seasons will see the light of day again.
• Rule 34 – Creator Reactions: In "The Making Of Adventure Is Nigh" documentary, Yahtzee refers to slash fanfiction (alongside fanart) as the most flattering thing other people can do, but also that he doesn't want to think about the former.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: As to be naturally expected from an Actual Play series, but special note goes to how Amy came up with Dabarella's surname on the fly. According to the making-of documentary, she had properly developed much of her character, but upon hearing everyone else introduce their characters and realizing they had surnames and Dabarella didn't, and when it became her turn, she panicked and blurted out "Yeetster".
