Second Wind is a YouTube channel dedicated towards geek/nerd culture (primarily Video Games). It was founded by ex-The Escapist creators after senior editor Nick Calandra was fired by their parent company Gamurs Group; Calandra would go on to found Second Wind, with many Escapist employees following him in doing likewise.
Their content is similar to many of the creators' back from their time at The Escapist, and almost all of their works are brought over from there - either directly or as Creator-Driven Successors.

- The Artifact: Design Delve and Chronicle both use a more detailed variation on the Zero Punctuation art (with pointy boots), even after Yahtzee himself was forced to alter it.
- Canine Companion: Fully Ramblomatic and Design Delve both star the hosts' dogs, Toffee and Ludo - the latter is even credited as a co-host.
