- Mean Character, Nice Actor: On the clock, Adam Cole is a Jerk with a Heart of Gold as face at best and a massive prick as a heel. On Twitch, DaParty and Up, Up, Down, Down, Chugs is a sweethearted goof.

- Josiah Williams, who gained popularity on Youtube for his "Wrestle and Flow" videos where he raps to wrestlers' entrance themes, performed in Cole's entrance at Takeover XXV.
- Cole himself is a massive fan of Shawn Michaels and Triple H, and he got to work with them at a top level at WWE NXT.
- Romance on the Set: He's been in a relationship with Britt Baker since 2017.
- What Could Have Been:
- Possibilities remained that Cole would have likely stayed with WWE instead of leaving for AEW; however, talks failed to progress much when it was made clear he would not sacrifice his Twitch stream, going against a backstage edict that prevented main roster WWE talent from streaming on Twitch since mid-2020. In contrast, Cole was protected from this as he was primarily an NXT competitor, but the inability to see eye-to-eye further (combined with a potential main roster call-up which would have subjected him to this ban) nudged his decision to walk away.
- Related to the above, it was reported that one possible role he would've had on the main roster was as Keith Lee's manager.
