• Ascended Fanon:
  • The majority of the character and world-building details are included because they sound funny, especially in the live shows:
  • After Chris laughs at Jerry's suggestion that Jim Darkmagic's middle name is "Winifred":
  Scott: He laughed! It's canon now! Your name is Winifred.
  • In the 2013 event, Chris says "Sure, why not?" after Patrick asks if a room has chandeliers. Patrick then makes good use of them.
  • Sort of an odd one, but Scott has now begun an entire new comic based on Binwin.
• Fandom Life Cycle: The series seems to have entered Stage 4, as Scott points out in season 8: "Remember how they all used to hate us? Now they're helping!"
• Real Life Writes the Plot:
  • Wil Wheaton and Scott Kurtz had an emotional falling out, resulting in Aeofel's departure from the show.
  • Binwin being written out of the plot was a result of Scott's decision to leave the show permanently, taking Binwin (his only piece of original IP in the series) with him.
  • K'thriss' meeting with the Dran Enterprises representative was born out of necessity to explain his absence in-universe when Kris couldn't be there for part one of "The House Wins".
